Cecilia stopping for a little rest along a hike in the Bay of Islands.
Stopped at a little winery in Kerikeri. All the grapevines were covered with netting. It seems all wineries in this part of the world are "kid friendly".
David and Cecilia checking out the surf. Had to drive down a long gravel road (many kilometers) to find this deserted beach.
Stopped in Opononi. According to local legend, a dolphin named Opo let children ride on his back. There is a statue of said dolphin with a child on its back in the center of town. (and a burial site for Opo)
A panoramic view from the place we rented in the Bay of Islands
